With the Pro 4, Hope heralded the latest evolution in her hub. The hub, which is known for its good workmanship and indestructibility, has been further improved.
It has a larger flange diameter than its predecessor and thus enables even stiffer and more durable wheels. The freewheel teeth now have 44 teeth and thus 10% more locking points than the previous model. This results in an empty travel of just 8.2 and converts every start into propulsion. In addition, the 4 pawls withstand even the strongest legs.
The freewheel body has also been completely redesigned and now comes with two instead of three bearings. In order to ensure durability, they have been dimensioned larger.
Well-known features such as the diverse anodized colors, the sealed stainless steel bearings and the interchangeable freewheels and end caps have been retained. The weight has also remained.
