Strawberry was the first fruit to be cultivated in France because of its beautiful fragrance, smooth texture and sweet character. In sensory lexicon, strawberry flavor described as "The somewhat sweet, slighty sour, floral, fruity, frequently winey aromatic associated with strawberry."
