Colnago C68-R Carbon Disc Road Frameset
The Colnago C68-R is the pinnacle of the evolution of Colnago history, it’s the lug construction at it's extreme development, it's where 68 years of frame design meet the future. C68 is simply the new milestone.
The C68 features a redesigned frame with a new split headtube. This means it is now stronger, lighter and more customizable than ever. Parts are reduced from 8 (C64) down to 6, saving weight thanks to less bonding area and machining/gluing. The C68’s fork has been fully redesigned shaving off 40g, with an external rib-shape to give the rider more comfort but also to increase the ride-quality
The C68 now boosts a revised bottom bracket, with the switch from Colnago's previous TF82.5 to a more "standard" and easy to find T47. The system works the same way, with an oversized BB shell and internal bearings housed in alloy threaded cups.
