Straight out of the box, this trainer is compatible with rear wheel axles using the quick release skewer system, with axle sizes ranging from 10x135 mm to 10x142 mm. For bikes equipped with a thru axle system, we offer a 12x142 mm trainer thru axle with P1.0, P1.5, and P1.75 threading (sold separately). This axle may also be suitable for 12x148 mm bicycles under certain conditions (please contact us for further discussion).
For an optimal experience, we recommend using a smooth, threaded tire to minimize bumps and reduce noise while using the trainer. It's crucial to ensure that the trainer is correctly and securely installed. If you're using a Strummer trainer thru axle with the BT-10 trainer, be sure to install the spacers correctly to maintain the necessary spacing between the trainer's clamping system and your bike frame, preventing any unintended damage.
