The D4 Composite helmet, an upgrade from the D3, weighs 1050 grams thanks to its aerospace shell design and materials. It incorporates the MIPS C2 protection system for extra safety during falls. Its cooling system includes a front air intake, polymer center, and power grid side mesh for improved ventilation. Additionally, it features X-static and XT2 padding for anti-microbial and anti-odor benefits.
