Ekhel Chandra Wijaya, External Communications Senior Lead Tokopedia, said, “During Ramadan 2021, the value of Zakat Maal transactions increased by almost 3x, while the number of Donation transactions has increased more than 3x when compared to the period before Ramadan.”

Apart from sharing kindness, people can also practice worship with the Digital Al-Qur’an feature and Prayer Times which can be accessed through Tokopedia Salam.
“Since it was launched for the first time, active monthly Prayer Schedule users on Tokopedia have increased by almost 12x. Meanwhile, monthly active users of Al-Quran Digital have increased more than 35x, “Ekhel explained.

On the other hand, in order to make it easier for the public to strengthen the relationship in the midst of a pandemic safely, Tokopedia also presents a Paket Selamat which offers discounts of up to 50% for various digital products, such as pulses, data packages, game vouchers and streaming to payment of PLN electricity.
