Jakarta, 5 November 2025 - The double-date campaign Promo Guncang 10.10 on Tokopedia and TikTok Shop by Tokopedia (TikTok Shop) has proven to drive local digital economic growth. On Tokopedia, regions such as West Papua, Gorontalo, and South Kalimantan recorded the highest transaction increases during the campaign period, while on TikTok Shop, Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku, and Jambi saw the strongest growth. This year, the digital sector is projected to contribute 8% to Indonesia’s GDP, with potential to rise to 9–10% by the end of 2025. The top-performing product categories during Promo Guncang 10.10 included Mobile Phones & Tablets, Automotive, Food & Beverages, Beauty & Personal Care, and Muslim Fashion. “The strengths of both e-commerce platforms continue to complement each other in driving business growth across industries and categories. We encourage sellers to leverage Tokopedia and TikTok Shop simultaneously to tap into Indonesia’s vast market potential — especially during key moments like double-date campaigns,” Stephanie added.
