Consequences If the product infringes on Intellectual Property (IP)
Product will be taken down by Tokopedia
If your product is proven to violate IP, either from the reports by IP holder or from the findings of the Tokopedia team, then the product will be taken down by the Tokopedia team. Other than that, your shop performance is potentially deducted. Learn more about shop performance.
Notes:
The Tokopedia team has certain criteria to determine products that are suspected of violating IP, including if there are product findings that are claimed as fake products in the title or description.
Similar products could potentially not be sold by the shop
Suppose your product is reported by the IP holder and taken down by Tokopedia, then your shop may not be able to sell the similar products to the previously reported one.
Notes:
If you try to upload similar products to the previously reported products, your product will automatically be under the supervision of Tokopedia and will not be discoverable on the shop page and Tokopedia discovery.
Shop has the potential to be suspended by Tokopedia
If the shop repeatedly violates on their products, the store will be temporarily suspended. If you repeat the violations that cause your shop to be suspended again, your shop will be suspended permanently at one point.

You will receive a notification via email, Tokopedia notification center, Tokopedia seller dashboard, and Tokopedia shop page which contains the following information:
- If you get a report from IP holder
- If your product is violating Tokopedia's IP Regulation

Your product link that has been reported and taken down by Tokopedia.

The contact of the reporting representative in the form of
- Name
- Company
- Position
- Phone Number
You can contact the attached email and/or phone number if you object/want to dispute the report.

Details of the reasons why your product is considered infringing IP.
Example:
Your product was reported for trademark infringement, caused by:
- Unauthorized use of registered trademark on the product name, and/or
- Unauthorized use of registered trademark on the product description.

Notification about the possibility that you may not be able to re-upload/re-sell the same/similar product with your previous reported product. As well as directions to make an agreement with the reporter, if you want to re-upload/re-sell the same/similar product.

Potential offer to join Authorized Seller Program (ASP) and the contact of the representative of the IP holder that is responsible for the program in the form of name and email.
